PSA: No Online PayPal Returns Allowed In Store

After driving an hour to get to my closest store to make a return, I was told that stores can’t return online purchases made using PayPal. Just a PSA if you didn’t know. True to form, I was still offered a water and they kindly held the item in question for me while I did some other shopping

Must be a new policy. I did this once and they offered me store credit. I now refrain from using Paypal @ LV.

I am pretty sure this has been LV's policy regarding PayPal all along. If you pay online with PP then you have to return it via shipping to the source or in store credit only. Sorry you made the long trip- hope it was a pleasant experience otherwise.

It was still a pleasant experience The SAs were very kind, and I skipped over to VCA and placed an order for ruby mini Frivole earrings

They may not have a system to refund it back to PayPal in the store…

TJ Maxx has the same policy. I purchased some dresses online to wear to a wedding and could only return them in store for a credit. The store did not have a Pay-pal option in their system to give the refund through Pay-pal. Thankfully I still had enough time to ship them back because I never would have used that store credit. Their Pay-pal policy was listed on the website as a separate item and not included in the return section. I now double check a stores policy before I purchase using Pay-pal.
