PS1 water stain HELP!

I just purchased a PS1 chain purse in bright orange color and yesterday (the second day I used it), I spilled some bottle water on it. I thought it's just water. It will be ok. But when I woke up this morning, the stain is still there and it looks terrible, especially under natural light.

What you see in the picture is actually 5 times worse in person. I cannot capture the severity with my phone camera.

I googled 'how to remove water spots'. While some people say soapy water may remove it, but most professional sites say it's a myth and it will only make it worse because water stain is not a problem on the 'surface' but something deeper in the leather and there no home cure for that.

Does anyone have similar experience and what did you do?

Thanks!

Hi, I'm sorry about the spot. It's usually a bit hard to remove just the spot because I think it comes from the leather below. I have seen this in PS1 lambskin leather, but it could also be the dye. I think for example LMB could restore the color, see the tips page for unfinished leather: http://lovinmybags.com/tips.html

I would not try to remove the spot, but I would try to find a matching colored leather polish to cover it up. For professional help I would only use LMB or similar, not the cobbler around the corner.
