I just bought a couple of expensive shoes and was planning to go to a cobbler to have rubber soles put on. I actually dislike the look of rubber or anything added on so I did some googling and stumbled across this website called "Protect Your a Pumps".

http://www.protectyourpumps.com

Looks like their product is a clear adhesive that goes on the sole and protects it for up to 6-10 wears? Has anyone tried this product before? Thanks in advance!

My experience with the adhesives is that they are a waste of money.

They fit oddly, peel off when wet and leave a yucky residue once they quickly come off.

I personally would just save my money. Either resole with leather or a rubber protective half sole.

Take it to your best cobbler in town and ask for Vibram soles. They should be charging you about $35 for soles. It is worth the investment. My cobbler has different color soles. Even red for CL.
