Ladies,

Looking to add a DA piece to my collection and I am debating between the Propriano or Neverfull MM. Can you share pros/cons please?

This will not be a workhorse and i will rotate with the rest of my bags. I really am looking forward to adding a DA but also worried about color transfer/yellowing etc.. TIA for your thoughts.

For me, personally, I like the Neverfull better. I do not have a DA piece, but I do have a DE. The Neverfull MM is a good size and easy to carry, in my opinion. The Propiano has too much going on for my taste, and rather than a classic, it looks like it may be one of LV's here today and gone tomorrow styles. I also think those straps would annoy me. You should do a search to see what is on the resale market and if you would like the bag once all that vachetta develops a patina. Some like the look of that with DA and some don't. What matters is the one that you like the best :)

As a side note, you may get more responses if you post this in the main LV forum rather than in shopping.

Thank you! Saw one on FP but not in good condition, I do like the patina look when it’s nice and even and I do take good care of my bags so not super worried about it.Just haven’t see this mentioned a whole lot so wondering why it isn’t that popular.

@Vlad would you please move this thread under the main forum? TIA

Have you seen them in person? I have seen two proprianos recently and I was surprised at how short they are. I like the propriano but I do not think it is worth the extra money.
Yes I did recently see the propriano in the store and liked it, not as big as the neverfull and when buttoned look nice and compact. Just surprised I haven’t heard about it much here

I have a propriano, and a neverfull in monogram, definitely prefer the neverfull. In a way I do regret buying the propriano, the neverfull is just a bit more casual whereas I feel I have to “mind” the propriano

I personally like the look of the Neverfull but hate carrying it, i find the straps too short and skinny and it is uncomfortable even with very little in it. I would go for the Propriano in this case. I only have a PA and MP in azure, neither of which has been used, so would hesitate getting a whole bag even though I like the look of it during the warmer months.

That's awesome! Can you take measurements of the shoulder strap drop? I have never leaned towards the NF either because I hate the straps (too skinny). TIA!

Sure thing! I just received it today but haven’t had a chance to actually look it closely. Did notice there was no date code though not that I am concerned about it. Will let you know.

I measured and the handle drop and it is definitely more that the Neverfull (i used to own one but sold it). It measured at 9.5 inches and was definitely comfortable getting it over the shoulder compared to the NF
