lol, popular ring, my ex gave me one in platinum, too. i gave it to a coworker of mine. i still miss it. it's a beautiful ring... so simple but pretty.

For our first Christmas my boyfriend bought me a promise ring :) ... the picture isn't that great but it's a thin white gold band with a tiny pearl (because its my birthstone!) and then 6 small diamonds (3 on each side)

Aww I wish I could get a good pic of the one my SO just gave me for our six year anniversary :crybaby:It is a white gold and diamond ring, antique art deco, and I love it!!! My camera will not focus correctly, so I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow with my Mum's camera.

It looks a good bit like this, but with two diamonds that are much brighter and more beautiful, and the setting is much shinier! ^_^

Hi all, new to the forum :o)

My BF and I have been together about 2.5 years, he gave me my promise ring just before our 1 year anniversary. He surprised me one day after work, I came home to find him home early and holding every girls favortie blue Tiffany bag. It's very simple, but I love it and love the fact that he picked it out all by himself.

awww, that's incredibly sweet!! he is a keeper then huh? Tiffany's? he KNOWS what girls love.

So, my ring has a big story. it is big too, and i LOVE it to death. i feel like i am one lucky gal every day. I'll try to find a picture of it to post.

but everybody's ring is beautiful and i like all the meaning behind it. it's very touching.

My DH got me a promise ring when we moved in together after graduation... he got us matching Tiffany Atlas bands!

I still have them saved, but now that we're married we have our real wedding rings, a Tiffany diamond eternity band for me, and Lucida for him :heart: I love the concept of promise rings :smile1:

a Lucida for him? i know the tiffany's lucida setting but is it the same for men?

oh and btw tweetie, atlas is such a nice collection from tiffany's. That ring is gorgeous. i have my eye on that $2000 somethin one from atlas w/the diamonds. ohh that's such a beautiful ring. i've only seen one person wear it so far in my life.

I don't have a pic, but my promise ring was a .25 carat princess cut in a white gold band. We picked it out together on vacation after we'd been together a year. This is my ex that I spent 3 years with.
