The gown is amazing.

Looking for a pair of nude or black Louboutins to pair with her prom gown.

Specs:

Nude
Black

Sizing:
She wears a 9 US
10.5-10.75 inches in foot length.
She has never worn Louboutins before so I do need help with sizing.
I assume she needs between 40-41.5 depending on style and season.

No higher than 100mm but would consider 120mm.

Under $300 (preferably)

Looking for ADVICE with sizing and styles
And hunting down the perfect pair.

Ladies,

Please help me make her Louboutin Prom dreams come true.

THANK YOU!!!! [emoji8][emoji8][emoji8][emoji8][emoji1431][emoji1431][emoji1431]

So I'm a prom mom too. I posted the Very Prive's I purchased to go with the color of her dress (still being made) in a different thread. My daughter doesn't wear heels too often and she told me she preferred a bit of a platform, it would make the high heel more tolerable. As an owner of New Simples (and Bianca's) I would agree. She also thought a thicker heel would help.

I doubt you will find the follies stress in your price range (I periodically stalk them) but there are satin, patent Very Prive's or other platform 120mm or 100mm out there in ebay land. I'm an 8.5-9 and usually wear a 40. I keep a saved search for my size.

Here goes some ebay suggestions:

The Follies strass that Materielgrrl posted are so stunning but way out of budget, especially if it's just for prom :hrmm: I know in America they go all out for prom but for my graduation dance I wore a $60 dress from Modcloth and don't regret it at all :P

In my opinion, I would go with a Simple 85/100 or Pigalle (Plato) 85/100 (definitely no 120s unless she wears heels often) because a) you don't want to be the girl that sits out on dancing and isn't having fun because your feet hurt too much, and b) they're classic styles that she can hold onto for interviews, work, etc. I'd choose closed toe and minimal platform over a peep-toe or strappy design because they're so much more versatile especially in more conservative scenarios. If these are going to be an "investment" shoe then you may even want to go into a boutique and buy them new for that extra special experience and guaranteeing a perfect fit. That being said, be sure to consult her on whether the Simple/Pigalle is too "boring" for her special day :P

As for sizing, I'm a US 7.5 and my Simple 85s are size 38.5.

Best of luck!

Beautiful dress and daughter. Good luck

Thank you for the advice and links!! I already saved a few of these. I was having trouble guessing her Louboutin size. We are going to go try on shoes this weekend so I can gauge her Louboutin size better. When I measured her foot it was over 10.5 inches but she wears a US 9. I’m nervous to get the wrong size. She is a solid 9 if not a 9.5 in heels.

She doesn’t wear heels and would prefer a chunky block low heel. Which these are not as easy to find right now under $400.

Good luck to you too!! I know they want everything to be perfect for the few
Hours they will be at prom. Too bad they can’t see into the future and realize it’s a good tome but not worth all the stress. Hahahaha. Too be young!

I thought about a new simple because a simple is more of a conservative style. I’m not sure she is looking for an investment at this point because it wouldn’t go well with her shoe budget, dress or the occasion. She went with the high cost dress instead of shoe. Thank you for you advice. I appreciate it!! I wish she was a 7.5, then she could just borrow a pair from me!! [emoji12]

I just checked out your collection thread (the variety!) and what a shame it is that your daughter doesn't share the same shoe size :-s

Ha! I'm the 9-40 and my daughter is the 7.5- 38. My sister shares her shoe size but no way is she raiding her closet.

Oh come on [emoji6]. That’s what her favorite aunt is for, right!! And how awesome is that, there is no need for guessing. You know what size she needs. Man. I wish mom and aunt had great shoes when I was their age. Maybe this is why I’m obsessed.
It’s great because she sends me pics of shoes all day and I swiping left, nope, nope, nope. Too small too ugly too old fashioned. She just wants a pair, like right now!!!

Please share pics before or when you find her a pair!!! I’d love to share in the joy!!!

#7780 I hope this works. Here is the link to the shoe and fabric. I think you have this shoe in the pink color! The person who sold these took great care of them; my sister has them to take to her cobbler to put a better grip on the sole. I will post when the whole outfit is put together for prom.

No link.... but I’ll look it up.

Oh beautiful!
