Finally the Royal Purple. It is supposed to be reinforced like the Turqoise, but it does not seem to be. What do you think?

...as far as the royal purple...I know it's a super smooshy leather, so maybe even with the reinforcement there was still a little puddly going on? I see what you mean though (lower left corner)...at any rate, they are all awesome!

They are all so bright & cheery...I love them!
I love the RP, but I think this style needs it to be reinforced, IMO. The leather is so gorgeous! If you keep it as is, then it looks like it will break in quickly and be beautifully slouchy, and look like a different style than your other Virginias.

Love them all! I think the first is my favorite. So brilliant to put the chains to balance out the studs!
Royal purple is showing in the pics like a little slouching, but you'd have to hold it in hand to know how well it's reinforced. Still think it's a beauty!
Ignes, please make gold chain handles!! (as if we need more options)

the turquoise is simply brilliant!!! This is a stand-out bag.
And the royal purple....gasp! stunning!! I agree, it's soft so should smoosh some even with extra reinforcement. It's a really cool take on the Virginia, I love it!!!!

OMG serious bag porn......such a treat to the eyes. I love the Fuchsia the most, but such an array of colorful beauties. Congrats Sandy!! I agree with what SK said about the slouching on the purple actually may make it a totally different bag. Nice choices!
Uh oh...I didn't know this style was available..all of them are TDF..SSD...ITA about the RP..IMHO it needs more reinforcement..but I love them all..and I'm not a bright girl wearer even though I love to look at them..IDKY.

May I be a tad rude and ask what the cost is for a Virginia.. please help me..no modifications...(are the studs part of this bag..looking at pic thread I see only a few with them?) and I'm thinking that I might ask for two rounded handles instead of flat ones...

ITA..this is one bag that needs the bottom to be reinforced well..and not too smooshy..two faves now..Gabbys and Virginias..since I'm looking for two colors that most designer's in my range aren't doing for F/W...plus I really love the whole concept and ethic of Ignes..not to mention everything else..I'm thinking of "gasp" going for two bags..as I said..I have rehomed and am still rehoming..major big time.
I realize that I will use a dark green a great deal..and I really want a GIB bag if Maria has enough for me to do this..(off to email her again..).if not..once I get that lookbook..I will be touchy, feely..looking at the swatches under all light sources..and making lists..and deciding what to do..and probably asking for major feedback..OK..not hijacking..

GIB would be amazing as a Virginia! I hope Maria has enough! Are you thinking of the Virginia in the GIB or the green? Which leather is more structured?

Now is such a bad time to be selling bags - they just don't fetch nearly what they used to. I think it is making us all think more carefully about our choices. Ignes is a wonderful company - I wish I could get another bag right now during this sale. Maybe some make-up cases.

Thanks dear..I just decided to rehome everything I don't use ..I just need to clear the decks of excess baggage.
I hear you about resale value. Some went to consignment store here in NYC. I am now carefully thinking about every purchase I make. I have enough black..brown..tan..cream.
Purging brights..except for one fuschia..for some reason it's neutral and medium sized not in my face so I am keeping it..and sharing it with DDs.
I don't have any green that I love..and not one blue..don't want a purple blue..don't want a green blue..don't want cobalt..don't want navy..so the GIB seems to fit what I want to wear with jeans or even black.
I've set aside enough $$ for two bags..period.
I'm not going to be mixing anything with the GIB if I go for it..and probably not with the perfect green either..definitely want GHW with the green..not sure with the GIB..Black on Black is still open because I know I will use it forever..but if the two colors are limited I will go for those..or one of those..again..it all depends.

I realized that I went nuts this year and am doing a major rehoming effort. Luckily I'm not tempted by much anymore..except for Ignes..HH's Fall line is lacking any greens of blues I love and to tell you the truth....I realized that I can get something that I really want and will use, customized for me...for a relatively reasonable price..that I won't be settling for..and won't have issues with..and won't have to pay through the nose..
Plus I love that it's from a company that has great CS so if I have any issues..I won't have to jump through hoops to have it resolved if it does happen.
