My bro helped me buy back from Europe back in Dec 2011 which meant a few hundred bucks of savings for me. It was my holy grail for a while, till I got more & more conscious of the loud monogram print. It's still one of my fav bags & I hope never to have to part with it..

Kate spade little minka in Atlantic Blue (620g)
Just got this last month (Apr 2014) for only USD170 from Kate spade family & frens sale. International shipping cost me ard USD30 so overall it was a good deal. It's still all wrapped up & hiding in my closet as the hubby knows nothing abt it.. Yet!

Scrumptious leather feels so good to the touch. Additional strap is long enough for crossbody. Spacious compartments.

Michael kors medium dressy/Sutton in black (840g)
A valentine day gift (Feb 2014) which was ordered from neiman marcus. Lightning speed international shipping. However, I am not in love with it.. or with saffiano leather in all honesty.

Nevertheless, I must say it's pretty well made with multiple compartments which is good for organisation. And it sure looks very professional.

Mbmj Natasha in mink (620g)
Got it on sale at USD300 in Dec 12 as my Xmas pressie from my Darlin hubby. It's a lovely light grey with lavender undertones & easily matches any outfit.

Perfect for travel & very comfy to carry. I took it to Korea & Europe last year (Mar & Oct 2013 respectively). I could even put a padlock at the zippered flap when I was in Europe (see Colosseum pic).

Mbmj large hillier in black (900g)
My most comfy & FAVOURITE bag to date, albeit a little heavy when I load up the huge black hole. The shoulder handle had softened up considerably & long strap works well for me as crossbody. It just hugs my body & makes me look slimmer

Anyway, I got it when I was holidaying in hk with my mom & sis back in Nov 2012, it cost me ard USD540 tax free.

Mbmj fran in pansy purple (1020g)
My latest mbmj & 1st purple bag ever. Acquired only last month Apr 2014 (as a birthday gift from my Darlin hubby) from neiman marcus at a good deal of USD300!!

Although it's the heaviest amongst my small collection, I love it very much. Smooshy leather & the handles sit well on my shoulders. The color "changes" under different lighting. I carried it to Tulipmania festival & the purple blended perfectly with the tulips!

Time for lightweight nylon bags!

Kipling alvar (300g)
I discovered kipling at a really mature age of 33 (Dec 2013).. my first kipling being the alvar in celo grey but it has since been passed on to my MIL. Attached also a pic of me carrying the celo grey alvar when I was holidaying in Tokyo 2 months back in Mar 2014.

My mom knows that I still miss the alvar & so she got this turquoise blue recently (May 2014) so we can share

Kipling Elizea in port red (300g)
My MIL got this for me in Apr 2014 as an swop for my celo grey alvar. The Elizea is as functional as alvar, but bigger to contain the ipad2. I carried it in the same month when vacationing in Taiwan.

Moving on to Longchamp, the current #1 choice in versatile, lightweight nylon bags.

Longchamp large LM Metal SH in platinum (240g)
My Darlin hubby got this for me last month (Apr 2014) from Paris.. I believe it was EUR85. It's super lightweight for a bag of this size & the platinum color matches my usual dark clothing perfectly. I can put the short handles over my shoulder but it's a tight fit.

Longchamp large LM Metal LH in black (280g)
My sis helped me buy back from HK for HKD1200 in Nov 2013. It's the same material as my LM Metal in SH, grease & waterproof. I carried this while shopping in Tokyo & it sure can hold a lot!

My first Longchamp ♡, can't remember exactly when I bought it.. Either 2009 or 2010.. for ard USD140. I took it for a holiday in HK in Oct 2010.

Surprise gift from my Darlin hubby in May 2012. I carried it for 5 months straight before I got my mbmj hillier

I brought it to Clubmed Cherating in Oct 2012.. Oh Clubmed is so fun!!
