But the color is fabulous and it's perfect for all seasons. I'm 5'4 and I usually like to wear heels but, if I'm not going to wear heels I might as well wear something that makes a statement.

I would probably wear as actual slippers or inside at parties but not so much in wind and rain (and heaven knows what on our cities' pavements).
I have a sneaking suspicion we are a little more 'out there' compared with many so regardless of what others think of buying for themselves I would go with your heart.

They are definitely a statement maker. I would be afraid to wear them outside for fear of dirt and bugs. I would definitely carry them in my purse and slip them on at a party or dinner.
Thank you all, this is very useful. I will likely go without because it appears that these are "actual slippers" and not really to be worn out and about.
