I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

TOW recently promoted clothing worn by George and Charlotte using a ShopMy link on her ShopMy account. Those links no longer appear. Inquiring minds opine that the valuable Royal Warrants (official endorsements awarded to qualified commercial brands) prompted the removal of the links.

Goods have to be bought by and please the Royals for years before even applying. If the brands/points of sale commercialise the warrants beyond displaying the Royal Warrant(s) or reveal any Royal secrets (like Rigby & Peller in 2017) they will forfeit the warrant (and future business with the Palace). Lots of brands/companies dress the Royals without being given a RW.

It would have been an immediate ban on a) using the Royal children as commercial models, not just because they're Royal but because it exploits (the) children and b) tampering with any contractual obligations, T&C of those brands (if they hold Royal Warrants). Even if they don't hold RW yet, commercial exploitation of the association would end their respective relationships with the royals before application.

They didn't 'distance' themselves for the family, then went to a different service.

No-one can stop Meghan from going/coming to the you UK. She just can't think of a reason to come here (UK) now she has everything she wants (in the US) - and hates to be booed of course..
