I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I'm not sure how much choice there is when you are the victim, though.

And he is just as nasty as she is. All those admissions in spare about how he picked on a disabled matron, acted up in school thinking it was funny, treated women awfully and never accepts responsibility but instead relied on the BRF to save him.

I don't disagree that he is not a particularly stellar human (and I as a parent would have punished him severely for treating the matron like he did. I wonder if it was never brought up or Charles just did not care enough?), I just think everyone deserves a spouse who does not manipulate and dominate them and publicly treats them like sh*t. I can just imagine how bad it is behind closed doors.


I don’t believe all the PR about “poor Harry he was led astray”. He was a grown adult making his own choices.

I do get tired of the “ it’s all MM’s fault” narrative. Harry dressed in a nazi uniform, got into a naked Las Vegas romp etc. this was before MM.

Harry has always been a problem. MM just adds to the already toxic person H was/is.

I agree with all you say, but truly doubt whether it would have ever occurred to Harry to leave his family. As far as his dissing said family, I should think it was easy for him to do so, once it was pointed out to him by his wife, how "terribly he was treated" as the spare. It is easy to put thoughts in a mostly empty mind, simmering with resentment over less sausages.

The seed of resentment was always there; it just needed suitable soil in which to be planted so it could grow into a poisonous tree.
Now, he’s drowning in his own poison.

Pre-recording a video with filtered images is not participating in a summit. Participating means you are connected to the summit and verbally participating in the discussion, which we all know is possible today via computer linkage. I don’t think that happened.

Jumping on another victim bandwagon today to wail about the election results. So the Duchess voted? Did she sign her voter registration card as Rachel Meghan Markle or Duchess of Sussex?

Even a Z List “actress” like TW can look demure when the role demands it.

My cynical analysis, some level of reality has finally settled in, theRF, in spite of life threatening disease and a pared down line up, is doing Very Very well and soon to get stronger as Catherine steps back into work. H and TW continue to be expendable.

The coming changes in America will not enhance their chances for success in the US where they are widely viewed as “grifters”. Plus TW’s supposed desire for a future political role was blown to smithereens for at least 4 years.

The whole “43% Nigerian ancestry” exercise in May of this year garnered no lasting opportunities, so, based on this most recent, highly filtered photo, TW is undertaking yet another rebrand and has reverted to emphasizing the remaining 57%.

There’s also the possibility she’s been looking around and has been forced to recognize no one new is interested and the dim witted scruffy handbag at her side IS the best she can do for now.

Really doubt that MM paid Oprah. They were the couple everyone wanted to talk to right after Megxit and it was considered a coup for Oprah to do their first tv interview after leaving the BRF. I wouldn’t be surprised if the reverse was true and that it was Oprah who paid the grifters to get the interview.
