Pricing Tanzanites

Hi all,

Does anyone know how tanzanites are priced, eg world market prices? Could it be price of Ct x weight?

depends on the color. deeper blue is most valueable then deep blue/purple then the lighter shades. i watch JTV all the time and they always talk about this stone. A top color rivals a sapphire with a tint of purple. Google tanzanite value and see what it says.

Tanzanite is such a pretty stone. We don't see much of it in the jewelery stores around here, but I love the color.
