Price varied depending on color?

Hi All,

Someone recently told me that a gold, black or etoupe bag is more expensive than other colors. Is this true? I would imagine it may be true for resellers but at hermes?

No, color is not a pricing factor. The type of skin can vary the price, but not the color. Resellers will charge a premium for in-demand colors, but they are paying regular retail for the bags.

Definitely same price for colours in boutique. But some colours only come in certain leathers, so there could be price difference due to different colours in different leather. But gold, black and etoupe are definitely no more expensive than other colours in same leather.
