Price tag on the LV bags?

I thought LV never include the price card with the bag when we make a purchase. But I saw a few listings on ebay claim they are new with tags and include a picture of the price card... Isn't that guaranteed fake?

I just purchased a Galleria a few weeks ago and they gave me the price card along with my receipt, I also was given one with my Speedy as well!! But not on my other bags/accessories.

I always request both tags when I buy a new LV. Some SA's remove both tags, some leave one or both in the bag.

I've gotten a few with the price tags, but most without. My preferred boutique usually tapes the price tag to the sleeper so it can be easily changed for the way-too-frequent price increases.

I noticed: when I buy from LV boutiques - I only get the tag w/the model no. and little care booklet (for Vernis and MC lines)
When I buy from Nieman Marcus and Bloomingdales - I get two tags, one with the model no. and one with the model no. and the current retail price, along with little care booklet (for Vernis and MC lines)

I've gotten almost all my price tags in the zipper of my bags, even my pochette and my mini pochette, and all have been purchased at the LV boutique...the only one I didn't get the price tags was on my Trevi PM and that was purchased at Neiman Marcus.

I've gotten all sorts of tag combinations when buying in store ... no tags, materials tag only, price tag only, and on rare occasions, both tags.

No, not at all. The price card does come with various items. Some of my pieces have the price card hanging off of the dust bag. Some of the pieces had the price card inside of the bag. It just depends...

I have been collecting Louis Vuitton since 2005 and have never been given a price tag-until yesterday. I was shocked since the prices change on these every few months…
