Coincidentally, I'm contemplating selling my single flap jumbo in black caviar to a consignment so I can fund a vintage flap, they quoted me $2700 for the whole package (I have the original sales tag from NM, and authenticity card), would that be valued more in selling?

It depends on the condition and what it comes with. If it's in like new condition and comes with full set (dustbag, box, authenticity card etc), I think it's a fair price. However, if it has lots of wear, I'll pass it.
