Price of a WHITE Gold Chain

I tried to search for the answer, but didn't have a lot of luck. I'm trying to get an idea of how much I should expect to pay for a 16" white gold chain (box link). I'm purchasing a pendant from a local, repeated jeweler, but it does not include a chain. That is separate. Any of you jewelry experts have an estimate.

It really depends on the gram weight of the necklace. For instance, in NYC, I notice that a lot of stores are selling their gold at $50.00 per gram. (Just a few years ago, the price per gram was under $20.00!). So when you see a chain you like, ask them what the gram weight is, and then you'll be able to figure out if you're getting a good deal. For example, if they say the chain weighs 4 grams, and it's $200.00 or below, I'd say that would be ok!
