The hardware & shape of the bag makes a hermes bag a Birkin or HAC, the HAC has the square-ish turn-lock, and it comes in a slightly different size, it is also taller that a birkin. the price is near $9500
Sounds to me like the seller does not know what the are selling, that would make not want to buy from this seller. The larger "travel" size HAC's are usually available on a regular basis, I would try to get it in a Hermes Boutique.
The color does not change /affect the price, the leather does.

Oh dear, I guess the best is to see it for real....the person selling sounds genuine but I guess meeting in person would be better. I know bigger Hermes bags don't come in boxes, but what else should i look for?

OP, I seriously think you should give this a miss because it just sounds too dodgy for words and riddled with possible pitfalls. If you aren't 1000% sure you can authenticate this bag yourself then I would stay well away because you could spend $9000 on a big fat fake!! I still can't understand why the seller could only send a picture of the back of the bag?? :shrugs:

I'm kinda scared about it too...but maybe i could get more...hopefully. But i think its still worth a visit since its $1000 cheaper, and if its really a fake then I'll hop over to the boutique for one...hopefully the have in stock.

^I wish you luck. Yours is not the path I would choose personally and I hope that you will be able to tell a fake from the real thing. For me personally, a 10% bargain would not be enough for this operation. 50% OK, that would make me get out the door. 10% - no.

Thanks, maybe I should take the safe route...I've seen some threads talking about fakes that are quite close to the real deal...and that last thing I want is to pay for a real bag and get a fake one instead. uuuggghhh

50cm HACs are rarely in Togo. They are usually produced in Clemence and Fjord. I think if the best the seller can do is send you a photo of the back of the bag you would be crazy to buy it.
