price difference for engagement ring in Canada and US

I've been doing some research for engagement ring.
Im in Canada but i was told brand engagement ring in US is cheaper.
However, CAD is pretty low now while USD is so high.
Im just curious for a same ring what will be price difference between Canada and US?

Also, there are not too many options in Toronto compared to NYC.

Brand as in Cartier/Tiffany/Graff? Because if so, you'll be losing out a lot due to duties and the poor exchange rate. (A 27% difference + duty fees).
