Preventing Scratches on Fryes

I just purchased a pair of 12r Frye engineer boots about 2 weeks ago and they're are already too scratched up for my liking. Is there some kind of leather protect I can use to prevent them from scratching up so much? TIA!!

Depends on the type of leather. Go to a good shoe store and ask!

You need to use a boot cream on them, it will make the scratches disappear

Not Really. I use the Apple Care conditioner on mine but its pretty much not doing much. Im used to the destruction now, and I actually like them better now that they're beat up.

A boot cream sounds like a good idea. Which one do you reccomend?

Scuffed or scratched?
When mine get minor scuffs, I can often "rub" them out with my thumb.
Try it and see.
I don't think Apple Conditioner does much for scuffs or scratches, but I like to use it anyway!

If scratched, I guess not much can really be done?

Anyone use that Mink Oil stuff?

/\/\ I suppose in some ways you are right.

I am still in the mode of trying to keep mine from scratching or scuffing, but probably when I have had them longer I will feel more relaxed about it.....
