Hello Purse Lovers,

I purchased the Harwell Suede handbag from Fossil over the holidays. I love the style and I love suede (mainly for shoes). I took it on a maiden voyage last month and got minor color transfer from my faux leather coat. I don’t want to use it again until I have a plan for care, prevention and cleaning. Like I said I have lots of suede for shoes but they are darker and because they’re on my feet I don’t care as much.

I would love recommendations on what sprays I can use to protect the bag from transfer. I’m realistic and know it will pick up colors over time, but I want to keep it in great condition as long as possible.

DH uses this on his light colored suede hiro yanagamachi sneakers. I would of course test spot if you want to be ultra cautious, but so far there has been no change in color. First bought it at Leffot ny where it was recommended by the proprietor. :smile: However, I almost find it easier to make sure my garments, like dark denim, are color safe. . .

Gently try to brush the dye away before Scotch Guarding it. I've used on suede and nubuck - and it's cheap.
