I recently purchased a PM preloved and the owner sent along the receipt, but its only the top portion of the receipt, like it was ripped in half. It has the item, the cost of the bag and method of payment but that's it. From my recollection the bottom portion of the receipt just has the return policy, correct? She has blacked out her information (but just her name, there is no other personal info on it) but also blacked out the clerk and ticket number. I have 2 questions; if the PM runs into glazing issues as I've is the often the case with PM's will LV still repair with only this portion of the receipt and with client information blacked out? Also - it was purchased at an LV located within a Saks Store, can I bring it it to free standing LV boutique or will it have to go back to a Saks store? I'm kind of kicking my self not to purchase new so I won't have to worry about repair issues down the road, sad to say this on a bag this $$.

You won't need a receipt at all for repair, and can take it to any LV location to be sent off, as long as it's authentic.
Agreed. The receipt is a plus, but they can also use a real receipt for fake item. So, you just need to make sure your bag is authentic, then if you have problem down the road you can take to LV store.
