I just purchased my very 1st Chanel bag last week. Black Jumbo Class Flap with GHW in Caviar. Truthfully I was more attracted to the Reissue but decided I would buy one on the preloved market. Easy right?!?
I just lost out on a bid for a black Chevron Reissue 226 with GHW for $4900 usd
There is another one for $5900.
Should I wait to see if another preloved black chevron 226 comes along? Is this a good price? How common are the chevron reissue bags?

Is it the chevron one with the burgundy lining. In the us those are hard to come by. Reissues chevron black ghw in general are difficult to find and pricey in my opinion, but I did see a few black sheep a while back, but as of late not so much

The one I lost was black lining. The other one does have burgundy lining.

Having seen both...burgundy lining one is nicer. It feels so luxe. But unfortunately, the price is always higher because they so rarely pop up for sale

Ha you will love it. It’s one of my absolute favorites. That burgundy lining is just I spent forever tracking one down because once I saw it I could not settle for Anything else lol

Good move to buy it when you did. I missed out on a so black chevron sheepskin reissue 226, hesitated b/c I felt the price was too high. I’ve been stalking every site I can think of for weeks and have not come across another one at any price in good condition.

Bought on Poshmark. I wanted a 225 or 226. The 226 came up so I went for that one. I’m so impatient.
