Which would you rather purchase, if the vintage one is still in good condition?

I am tossing up between a pre loved Gucci and a new Foley and Corinna. I love both... But I cannot decide. So I thought I would ask how and what you would choose!

I'd get one that I'd use more or fit my lifestyle better. Sorry if that doesn't help answer your question. :)

No, that is a great answer! Thanks :) :) One is a great everyday bag and the other would be really nice for more special occasions... I do have a lot of everyday bags, though.

Depends on which bag fills a need in your bag wardrobe. If you say that you have many everyday bags and there are occasions that you would need a more formal bag, then get the special occasion one. I'm curious, which bags are we talking about? Is budget an issue or are the bags similar price wise?

Budget is not an issue, they are about the same price! Here are the two I was looking at:

Gucci

I am seriously looking at the F&C one but the Gucci is still really pretty. You're right though. I think if I get the Gucci one I would end up just buying another more formal looking bag later.

I'd be scared of getting a fake if I didn't buy it directly from the store, so I'd rather have a new one at whatever price range I could afford.

Yeah it can be scary, haha - I've seen some knockoffs at ridiculous prices!

I think I'll end up getting the F&C, so consider this question answered - but I'd still love to see how you all think! I see so many incredible bags here so it's great to see how members pick and choose (:

I lean on the what you'd get the most use from.. nothing wrong with Vintage so long as it's a classic style and color that said if you won't use it? who needs a purse to only stare at lol

I'd get a vintage bag as long as it's in good condition :) classics never go out of style whereas I feel like when I buy a contemporary designer bag it quickly loses its value when I try to sell out for whatever reason..

For me, I'd choose whichever design I liked better and would use more. While so far my bags (and what I'm saving up for) are only premier, there are a few contemporary designers I'm looking at for the future too. I care more about the specific bag itself (and the quality of it) than the brand name.

If you have a chance to try both on in person, I recommend it. There have been bags I thought I'd love from pictures online alone but, when I tried them on in store, I realized quickly they didn't work for me for one reason or another.
