i went into my local Chanel boutique this weekend and the SA showed me the look book. i saw a piccie of the striped pre-fall 2.55s. has anyone else seen this?

another info ladies, one of my sa said that the hardware on the jumbo lambskins are gonna be SILVER, she doesnt know what kind of silver tarnished or what but it will be silver. so for silver lover =) this is a blessing.

To be honest, and based on the photo I saw in the lookbook, I wasn't too crazy about it. It was tone-on-tone stripes. I am curious to know how they achieved this affect, though I would imagine it's a similar process to making the finish of the metallic 2.55 bags.

I imagine the bag probably looks better in person, as those lookbook piccies tend to not do the bags justice usually, so I reserve the right to change my judgment.

A SA at the boutique told me that the new reissue will have black hardware, not silver.... true???
