I just received this from vestiaire collective and I always dreamt of having a classic prince of wales type pattern with a structured fit for an office look and a mix of classic structured feminine slightly vintage style.
I’m a minimalist with a creative twist and feminine/masculine mix.
The quality is amazing BUT its so thick!
Luckily I live in cold Northern Europe but still we have heaters indoors lol.
How to wear it, ideas?? Outdoors?

I live in a very warm tropical climate so I have no idea but the suit is gorgeous and very flattering on you! I imagine you'd have to wear something very thin underneath like a bodysuit or thin sweater so you could even remove jacket if too warm inside with heat. I think it would look nice with sleek knee high leather boots and a scarf with a pop of color.

Thank you, yes I was happy it fitted blazer is a 42IT and skirt (high waist) a 40IT. On the picture I´m wearing a short sleeves but thick fluffly sweater, Good idea with the -maybe- casual tshirt or vest on top, I will need to remoe the jacket inside. The skirt is super thick and warm too but can be worn inside in winter.
I do have leather knee high boots with kitten heel (I´m actually wearing only one on the picture), and also pointy slingbacks in burgundy.

I think either the boots or burgundy shoes will look nice with the grey. Maybe you can wear with a matching burgundy top. Where in Europe are you?

That's precisely why I never buy this type of clothes; every time you're going to step inside, you'll be sweating like a swine. Layering is the key, precisely because you can take of the layers once inside.
Unless you're willing to never wear the jacket inside and just leave it on the back of your chair and go around with a top and the skirt, I don't see how you can wear this to the office without ending with huge aureolas of sweat in the armpits!

You can try and turn it into an outdoor outfit, for outdoor functions... With good boots and tights under the skirt... Are there that many exclusively outdoor functions, justifying the price of a Prada suit? And even if such exist, you would want to wear pants or leggings, never a skirt...

I would return it, personally.... It is going to rot in your closet. I am in Canada, out climate is probably colder that yours, there is no occasion in which I could wear something like that.

Or you can accept that you'll never wear jacket and skirt together and use them as separates, combining them with lighter pieces...

Try it on under your coat as well to make sure it's comfortable to wear, unless you plan to wear it in between seasons without a coat.
Are you outdoors a lot where you could get use from such a warm suit or more indoors?

I keep my heat at 62F when I plan to wear my wool items or else I’m way too warm. The unfortunate reality is it’s often way too warm to wear thick wool items due to how warm some people keep their living / work places.

Thank you. I have a thinner wool suit from the Frankie Shop that I have worn over and over again on it´s own outdoors. But yes it is thinner.
I can´t return but I can resale it. (Purchased second hand). It seemed very popular when I was bidding on it but the seller had great professional quality photos. I am still hesitant because I am a minimalist and absolutely hate seing clothes not being used! At the same time, it is so gorgeous. The quality is so fine, compared to everything else I own! I am always shocked at how expensive a suit can be only to see poor materials...

I was planning on trying wearing it between seasons outdoor, and without the jacket indoors.
And basically right now under a larger coat as it is 5-7 C (41-44F) and our mid season is normally around 10-15 C (50-59F)
I know I have sold such a jacket in the past because it was too warm.

Yes, last winter while we were all saving energy I was so cold inside but this year I can´t wear my cashmere indoors only thin merino wool. Here we heat around 20 C (68F)

Well since you can't return it, try wearing it with a thin layer underneath, with or without the jacket, maybe as separates etc and see how you feel.
Are you too warm? Then you can resell.
If you enjoy wearing it and are comfortable, then keep it.

Then, try and concienciously force it to make it happen.
Wear them as separates... Maximise the wear in spring and fall, with a cape or poncho on top etc.

Do you ever go to restaurants with outdoor seating? I live in a chilly and damp part of the USA, but everyone loves nature so restaurants are determined to have outdoor seating with heat lamps, or open the windows indoors at night in the Summer. Especially places near the water, where it can get quite chilly. I always start off fine, but sitting for a couple of hours while eating and chatting makes me so freezing I need a parka to stay warm, so maybe something like this. Or an outdoor wine tasting, outdoor wedding/party, lakefront event; all of these seem to end up freezing at night. My thickest wool Chanel jackets get their use in these occasions, so I am guessing you could use your lovely wool suit in such situations as well.
