Prada Re-Edition 2005 Saffiano Leather Beige vs. Black

Hi all! I’ve been looking at this bag for years and finally decided to purchase it! I’m torn between these two colors and wanted to get some opinions. I’m looking to wear this bag year round and day/night. Thanks!

Both are neutral so which do you think you'll use more? Do you have alot of other bags in one of these colors already? What color clothing do you typically wear?

I typically wear neutral colors so a lot of black, beige, cream, navy and gray. I have a few black bags but none with gold hardware. I also don’t have any beige bags currently so I’m torn!

I have the one in black saffiano and I love it. I only used the crossbody strap once in the past 2 years and so I ended up selling it.
It is a favorite shoulder bag of mine. Discreet with the small logo, secure with the zip, and durable saffiano leather of course.

If you want a day to night bag, the safest option is probably black, especially with that gold hardware and the gold chain, really makes it a more dressy bag.
The light color of the nude/beige is definitely beautiful during the day, but it gives a bit of casual-ness (to me) for wearing out in the evening.

Of course, if you're a more casual person in general, perhaps the nude/beige option could work as well. It also depends on your aesthetic.

Thanks so much for your reply! I ended up going with this bag in black because I could wear it as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag. I loved the gold chain on the 2005 but knew I wouldn’t use the guitar crossbody strap either and was looking for a bag I could wear multiple ways.
