Prada fairy bag - discolouration??

Hey all!

Just bought a pre-loved Prada fairy bowler from Vestiaire (yay, been loving these since 2008) and now it’s arrived I’m a bit surprised by the colour...

I was expecting an off-white or cream background colour but it’s actually much more a pale nude beige. I’ve never seen another of these bags in person so not sure if this is normal or if the bag has discoloured with age.

can anybody who has experience with these bags advise me please? Xx

The colour seems really consistent to be caused by age. In my experience, variations due to age tend to be less uniform and are often locational (handles, one side or top due to sun exposure etc). So my vote is that is the colour it was originally.

It looks to be in exceptional shape!

Looks right to me too. I don't have the bag now but I did have one bought from Prada back then and it was like yours as far as I can tell. It's a very soft, delicate tone that seems perfectly suited to the fine leather and the fairy art.
