Does anyone own this bag in the mini size? I was originally going to get the small but then saw this size that may be newer? I love how this looks crossbody but concerned it could be too small for everyday. Should I get the small or the mini? The grey color is the mini and the tan is the small.

I went online to check the dimensions. Looks like the small is roughly 9x12x5 inches and the mini about 7x10x5 inches (rounded to while numbers).

I have the Prada monochrome saffiano bag in small which is 8x10x5 inches and the saffiano tote in large which is 10x13x4 inches.

So it appears with regard to the size of the bags you're considering that the small is in between the 2 I have and the mini is very similar to the small monochrome maybe just a tiny bit smaller by 1 inch in height.

That being said, I don't think you can rely so much on the Prada size names. My small very close to your mini definitely fits essentials with spare room. But again, not sure what you're planning to carry.

Thank you for comparing dimensions! It doesn’t look like much of a difference, but might be if I wanted to carry a water bottle with me. Do you feel like your small carries a good amount? Or are you reaching for your larger size more often?

Will be planning to purchase in store. Have you ever filled the bag with some of your personal belongings while trying on? I think that might be how I would have to decide .

I haven't used either bag too much (that could be said for most of my bags) but when I used I did like them both and had plenty of room. If you're referring to a regular plastic recyclable water bottle (usually around 16 oz I think) I'd say that should fit along with other things. Trying on in store can't hurt but if you want I can try to take pics at my house later of the 2 bags.

Just located a pic of me holding the small monochrome which is likely very similar in size to the mini bag you are looking at if it helps to see a real photo of size. For reference, I am 5 ft tall. I will see if I can find one of other bag too.

Thanks. I love pink! Just found photo of other saffiano tote (in sabbia color). Much bigger but not huge compared to some totes.
