Can anyone tell me about these bags? There are a couple I really like the looks of on Nordstrom but the closest store to me is 2 hrs away and the bag I like isn't in stock there, go figure. I'd love to know how their quality is and how well the bags tend to hold up, how their leather is, etc.

I love their bags. Their styles tend to be more structured and their leather is hearty. I like their styling, which tends to be more edgy without too much bling. The quality looks to be pretty good too. I would go for it if you are getting from Nordstrom, since you can always return it if you don't like it.

What's the difference between "La Victoire" and "Pour La Victoire" handbags? Same company? Different company? One is a more expensive line of the same company? I'm having trouble finding an answer to this question. :confused1:

I think they are two different companies. I was confused too, but the La Victoire line seems to be lower end, while the Pour La Victoire is better quality. I've seen some great Pour La Victoire bags recently. They have this embossed tote that I've been eying.

I purchased one and I love the quality. I even get more compliments then my Rebecca Minkoff MAB. Makes me kinda of mad, honestly.

Pour La Victoire is the higher end. Like Michael Kors as opposed to Michael by Michael Kors.

Pour La Victoire shoes are great quality. I can't speak to the bags, though, but I would think they are as sturdy as the shoes.

I have the "Laurel" La Victoire crossbody leather bag being shipped to me that I got on sale for a whopping $32 (retail is $298), so even if it's "meh" for the price, I'll happily use it. :supacool:

"Laurel" arrived today. I was stunned at how nice it is. It's the perfect crossbody for me. Beautifully made, the leather is as good as Prada and the craftsmanship is perfection. I doubt I'd ever pay full retail on this line after seeing how much they mark them down at the end of the season, but it's comparable to other bags in the $300MSRP range.

Getting it for what a tank of gas costs me ($32) makes it even more loveable. :graucho:

Here's the stock shot. You can also cinch up the crossbody strap to a shoulder carry length, but I need crossbody these days.
