Picked up this beauty today. Does anyone use a bag organiser and hardware protecters on theirs.

I don't use anything either. The organizer seems like it would take up valuable space. Everything I put in there is in a pouch of some sort. As for the hardware, I would be concerned with glue damaging the finish vs scratches.

I also don't use an organizer, but rather have things in pouches. I did keep the original protective stickers on the S lock.

Nope. I honestly think some of the drive to use organizers on small bags comes from YouTubers because if you use their discount they get a kick back. They get the the organizers for free and I suspect they don't even actually use them. I use an organizer for my Neverfull GM for travel, but that's kinda obvious why you'd use one in a bag that big.

Not exactly, but I keep an old Toiletry 19 (IIRC) in mine for the added security of the zip close.

Never would have thought to use the toiletry 19 in my Pochette Metis, but it sure does fit! I love SLGs so ultimately I'd still be putting smaller SLGs into that T19, but it's nice to know I can use it if I ever want to in the PM.

I use hardware protectors and the hardware looks good as new whenever I switch them out. They honestly don't change the look of the bag so are hardly noticeable. I just don't like hairline scratches.

Would the hardware protectors cause any sort of damage to the metal, like cause the costing to peel off or discolor? Just wondering, I have only had the bag a few weeks and used it twice . Wondering if the protectors are a good idea, it they make me nervous.

YES! I do use an organiser for my metis and for all my luxury bags. I like to keep my bags clean and organised
My metis do have protector on the buckle as I cant stand the scratches and afraid that it will lose its shine
