I believe you are correct in your measurements... but the Neverfull PM is 11.2" x 8.7" x 5.1" (per eLuxury), so it is little larger. I just have a problem with bags looking too big for my "shortness"!
Depending on how structured versus slouchy it is, can make all the difference (for me). If it is a little slouchy (like the MC Speedy can be), it might not feel or look any larger than the Neverfull PM (which stays "straight" in its shape).
I guess we are all waiting anxiously to find out!!!
