** Post your non-Hermes indulgences here !! **

In January, I went to Australia and Fiji for the first time. The trip was primarily to attend the Australian Open and to buy jewelry. Back in 2007, I was in Vegas and discovered a jewelry store that featured really modern jewelry designs by an Australian designer named Canturi.

His signature line is called Cubism and truly spoke to my aesthetic and desire for truly unique pieces. At the time there were several stores in the US but I couldn’t afford his jewelry so I just promised myself “Someday.”

When the economic downturn happened in 2009, all of his stores outside of Australia closed. I was totally obsessed and just decided I’d have to go to Australia to get my dream pieces.

Finally, 16 years later I made it. It was an amazing experience and the sales associates were so charming and taken with my story. They treated me like royalty and rushed the sizing of my ring. They popped a bottle of champagne for me and even gave me one to take home. Truly magical experience.

I got two rings and a pair of earrings. I plan to go back in two years for a few more things.

Wow! Stunning pieces, congratulations. The cubism ring is amazing

Oh I love yellow diamonds!
Thank you! I can’t believe it took me buying something else in yellow to discover how much I love this shade… I might be heading into my Big Bird era…

After Sunday mass I headed next door to the Saks outlet. I just love how they built this huge church right next to the outlet mall lol. Pray first shop later
I have a few pairs of Stuart Weitzman shoes already but could not resist this deal. They were at one time $425 (and I could care less what year they’re from ). They were $76.:happydance: I literally walked out with them lol.
