I didn't see a thread on this when I did a search, and thought it would be fun to see your Legacy Satchel's. None of the stores around me ever carried them, so I've never seen one in person.

So ladies, post your legacy satchel's here. Also post pics of it on your arm if you have them, cause it would be great to get a good feel for the size of the bag while being carried. :wlae:

I originally purchased both the white leather and the black signature. I only kept the white since I realized that I was not a signature person. I posted a picture of it so you could see what it looked like. I have to admit that it was much lighter in weight than the leather but for the $50 difference in price, I decided to go with the leather.

Some questions for all of you who own this bag - how do you like it? I love the style, and am considering splurging on one in pond at the next PCE, but I was wondering if it's worth all the extra $. Is it ridiculously heavy to carry on your arm? I normally like shoulder bags, but have adjusted to arm/hand-carried bags - I just don't know if this one would be too heavy. Also, what about the clasp in front - is it a huge pain? I love the look of it, but would hate to feel like I have to fight with my bag everytime I need something in it.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, but thanks in advance!

willowsmom - You and I must be on the same wavelength, because I have all the same questions too. I had been considering buying the satchel as well (either pond or black for me), but I'd like to get a feel for how the bag looks on someone. Because if it's way too big while being carried, then it's probably not the bag for me.

So if anyone has pictures of them carrying the satchel, I'd be SO grateful!! TIA! ;)

I bought the charcoal at the outlet and I have to say that I love the bag and the look of it but it is just not me. I am glad a got a good deal on it or I would have returned it. It is unique and I like that. I can fit it on my shoulder and I don't fill it very full and it is alright to lug around.

I carried it for a day and then wondered why my arm was a little sore. Well, holding your arm at a 90 degree angle all day while shopping in Vegas wears a little on the old arm muscles.

The clasp is annoying to me but I like to get in my bags when I need to. I kept it clasped and then left the zipper unzipped but that kept scratching my hand.

I love that bag and that it comes in pond but will never buy another for full price or even PCE price. I would much rather have a Mandy.

HTH.
