Here's an update on the drama from my misdelivered bag. Fed Ex closed the case and Hermes told me I was entitled to a refund. They asked if I wanted them to find the same bag for me and I said yes (thinking good luck). I've been keeping an eye on the website daily to see if the bag was available and lo and behold two days ago it appeared on the website and I ordered it immediately! But just as a precaution, thought it couldn't hurt to call Hermes to tell them to stop looking for it just in case they found another one and I ended up with two. I was told that they did in fact find one and it had already been shipped, so they immediately refunded the one I'd just ordered. And today, the bag arrived! I know one of my neighbors has the original order so if I ever see this bag on a neighbors shoulder, I will call them on it. Because Fed Ex knows that they did deliver the initial box to a home within 10 homes of mine.
