I'm eyeing up a possible right hand ring for myself. I think I like the look of this, what do you think?

 I love the lace design as well. The Sapphires are very unexpected! Never seen anything quite like that.
In an ideal world I'd love the Victoria Tiffany band ring but I think for the price I can keep dreaming.... ;)

I am not too thrilled about I1 clarity diamonds. For small diamonds (which are usually not GIA certified due to relatively high certification cost), I would generally stick with VS or better clarity diamonds. In some circumstances, I may consider Si clarity, if there are no visible inclusions with naked/unaided eyes.

Ah, Christiflor has a good point. I wasn't looking at the specifics of the ring, just the design. I wouldn't be thrilled with I1 clarity diamonds either.

DF, Guess you have not seen too many pretty diamonds yet. Ok. Do this. Bring a 10x loupe with you to check the small diamonds. If you see black dots/specks (carbon), think again before buying. In terms of sparkles, did you view the diamonds under the bright store lights? If so, then you may want to view the diamonds indoor in your home during day and night time, and see if you still see lots of sparkles and brightness. If not or dull looking, stay away. Better yet, ask to see better cut, color, and clarity diamonds from the same store, and compare side by side. Be sure to stay from the bright store lights when comparing/viewing.

Have you considered shopping around online? When I was looking for my current RHR, I did a ton of online shopping, including Amazon. I was also not very picky about stones, and like you prefer design. I was also very particular about metal type. Thus, I opted for a lab created ruby. Some lab created diamonds or CZs can also sparkle quite nicely (I have a pair of earrings that sparkle well) and is better on your wallet. Obviously, some people feel strongly about buying a real vs. synthetic, so it's entirely up to your preference.
