popular items that have grown on you

I haven't seen this topic yet in a generic sense, so what popular items did you previously not care for but now have grown on you?

I used to never see the appeal of a Goyard allover monogram print, unless it was on a trunk. I can appreciate it a lot more now, and have my eye on a navy blue Artois tote and Senat pouch. My bank account is wishing I went back to the days of not liking the print

Not sure these are still considered "popular" but I would say Uggs. I recall when they original came out and I believe were only available in brown color and I thought they were so ugly I swore i would never wear them. Years later, now I own 3 pairs (pink, grey, and aqua though not brown). They are the best in cold weather!

Birkenstocks.
Used to hate them. Now, the minute snow has melted, that's all I wear.
Even chasing down designer collabs, if you can believe that!

Crocs. My grandma found them super comfortable so I got her various pairs. She ended up not using them all so some came home with me. They stay around the house but I can't imagine not having a pair to muck around in. Definitely not the best fashion statement but so easy on the feet.

I'd say the Dior saddle bag and D-joy.

Everytime I saw the saddle bag I just thought liver. lol
Now, I appreciate the saddle bag in the mini size. (especially in the wide rage of colors, patterns, and designs) Regular size looks great as well! But too big on me.

D-joy felt like half a Dior bag. But as a shoulder bag, yes, it looks cute. (if I got it, would probably never carry it hand-held or crossbody).

Haha I felt the same about the saddle bag. Then I saw it “in the wild” and it was stunning. Some bags look much better styled than sitting inside a store.
