Poll: What length of necklace to get? Pls help.

I will be getting this necklace. I do not have a long necklace necklace yet in my collection. Plan to use it for layering with my other necklaces or use it alone. I am 5 2" height. What length do you suggest for me? Thanks.

I would get the 28" because you can always add an extender to reach 30". The 26" is a good length, but if you're looking for a long necklace it's not really that long.

I think it depends on what other length chains you have in your collection,& how long you want the longest chain to hang. If you have only 16/18 inch chains already,then nothing longer than 26.If you have some longer chains than that,then you can choose the 28.
When I wear layered chains,I like them to graduate evenly in length to that they give a balanced look.

Since I'm 5'10" hard for me to judge the length on you. LOL!
Personally I would go with the 28" and have the jeweler put a little fastener (circle) at the 26" mark...very simple to do. Then you have a 26"/28" necklace. Or as someone else mention, buy an extender. Sometimes the 30" gets mixed up with the boobs or swings too much.

I ask because I have to factor mine in with long necklaces, as I need length to go outwards over them before it drops. I personally like the longer length anyway.

May I know the reason for not picking 30"?

Based on where the chain fell in the photo, I thought the 30" looked a little too long. Would you want to wear it with a charm (I.e. a key or a locket)? Because that would also add length to it.
