DH wants to buy me a Love for my upcoming birthday. I went to Cartier in Bond St (fabulous service!) & tried on both the regular & thin. I'm a size 15 so very small wrists. RG made my heart sing so I'm settled on that metal, however, I'm torn between the two sizes.

I typically wear very dainty jewellery- left hand: 2 thin diamond rings, 26mm Rolex Datejust in SS; right hand: engagement ring; necklace is usually a tiny SS DBTY.

Both DH & the SA preferred the thin on me - thought it went better with the rest of my daily jewellery (I plan on wearing it 24/7 with a RG DBTY bracelet).

What do you think? Unfortunately I only have a photo of the thin on me.

I also prefer the classic but that's just my taste. Seems from your described jewelry that you prefer a daintier style so go with what you are most comfortable with! I will say...you get used to the classic VERY quickly. It may seem bigger but it's super comfortable. But the thin version looks very nice on you so you really can't go wrong either way. WTG hubby! :)

I don't think we could afford the full bracelet. So the options would be thin or the cuff

I debated between these two also since I needed something I could easily take off. For me the cuff was ruled out-I didn’t like how it fitted on me (maybe just the shape of my wrist!) in that it was too close a fit to my wrist without much movement and I didn’t like that look. Going up a size to get more movement didn’t work as then the opening was too big and when I turned my wrist it would get caught in the opening. I also preferred full bangle/bracelet look of the thin. So if it’s between the cuff and the thin then my vote goes to the thin. I think it’ll look really nice stacked with the DBTY bracelet-in fact I’m thinking of adding a DBTY bracelet to wear with my thin bangle too!

I am a size 16 because a size 15 was not available when I purchased my classic love. I just bought the thin to stack. I think the thin is a little thin to wear on it’s own, but that the classic looks great with a DBY bracelet. If you liked the way the cuff fit, i would get that! I personally didn’t like the way the cuff fit my wrist. I also think if you feel the thin looks great with the trinity cord bracelet if that is something hou were looking at. You could purchase both for around the same price as the cuff.

I really like the thin love on you. Since you want to wear it with a DBTY, I would suggest you stay with the daintier one. The hinge is another selling argument of the thin one for me.

The thin looks beautiful on you! You fell in love with it when you first saw it. I think maybe you were reading too many reviews afterwards and now are second guessing yourself. No need for this. Just enjoy it! It goes very well with dainty jewelry too.
