I want to purchase a bag for a very good friend. She is 30 and trendy. Looking at metallic edie. What do you all think?

Wow, that is a great gift. I am more into classics and like the Edie. Shoulder handbags are very comfortable to carry in my opinion.


Have you seen it IRL? It is kind of a crackled type metallic. The Rhyder Satchel comes in bronze and gunmetal leather. To me that one looks pretty trendy.

I think Edie in metallic would be nice for a gal who loves trendy looks, but it can still be dressed down. Sounds like a great gift.

For a woman that age, I'd go with the rhyder. IMO, it's got an edgier younger vibe than the edie. The regular ryder comes in both brass & bronze shades as well as metallic.

I'm in my 20s and have both the bronze metallic Rhyder and brass metallic Edie. I love both and see my Rhyder as edgier and typically wear it with studded combat boots and Harley Davidson gear. I tend to wear my Edie with heels and more formal outfits.
