POLL! Help Reissue Metallic Dark Silver 07 or Dark Silver 08?

I just saw the Metallic Dark Silver 08 at the store and I love the color! So I am thinking about getting one reissue. I just did a search and tons of you Ladies love the Reissue 2.55 Dark Silver; However I believe the threads I've read were all for the Metallic Dark Silver 07.

So which one do you like better? The 07 or 08?

Those of you who own them both (I am sure there are some!), which one do you prefer? If you have pics of them next to each other, that would be awesome! I have never seen the 07 in real life, so I can't tell.

I am so sad

My post doesn't get any attention here! I really need some opinions to help me decide. It's a lot of money to spend and I don't want to make the bad the decision. I only hav 1/2 days to make the decision. So please tell me something!

HI! I love the dark silver 08 fall . I think that one is the best, since it is like a dar grey and not as metallic or foil like, it is a gorgeous dark silver.

Aww, don't be sad! Okay, I'm guilty as charged haha. I have both the '08 Spring DS reissue, and the '07 226 DS reissue! If you saw the DS at the store recently, you must have seen the Fall '08 DS. I actually had that for a while too, and contemplated replacing my Spring '08 227 DS with that one. I opted to keep the Spring DS in the end, because it just worked better with my wardrobe (I love bright colors, and the steely grey metallic shade of the Fall reissue wasn't as complimentary). I actually have a picture of all three DS reissues, so here you go:

One additional thing to consider is that the new reissues (fall ones, and those from this past spring) are wider at the base... the "new" 227's fit more than the old 227's (like the '07 DS). If you like the extra space, I would keep that in mind. You can see what I mean in the first picture. If I had to pick one, I would choose the '07 DS, because it's such a stunning chameleon color... it has subtle bronzey undertones, and it looks beautiful with both warm and cool colors, whereas the new DS to me really doesn't compliment warm colors at all. Anyway, the '07 DS has my vote!

They are gorgeous on you!

What I mean is they're all look gorgeous and so different. From the first pic of the 3 together, I think I love the 08 spring!!! I didn't even know they released a Spring 08!!! I will look at your pics again and again till I can make a decision!

^Aww, no problem!! Glad I could help... or confuse you more haha! Ohhh, yeah, the spring '08 DS is amazing... I kept her over the Fall DS! You're right, the differences are really highlighted in the pic with all three DS siblings haha! I actually have a few more pictures of my spring '08 DS, in case you wanted to see some solo and comparison shots.

I have all 3 DS reissues, and the 07 DS is the most unique.

It depends what colors you mainly have in your wardrobe.

If you wear a lot of brown or beige, the 07 DS works better. It's not really a silver color due to its bronze undertones. It's such a pretty color!

If you wear a lot of navy or greys, then go for the Fall 08 DS, which is really like a metallic grey, or go for S/S 08 DS.

The S/S 08 DS has the most true silver color.
