Poll: do you have/need/use rain boots?

I bought a pair of Burberry Rain Boots earlier this year when I was living in SF and use to walk everywhere but now that I'm back in LA, I doubt I'll be wearing them as much- especially since I drive everywhere down here.

C-21 NYC had this pair of Miu Miu rainboots on sale for under $100 (I apologize for blanking on the exact amount). I tried them on but was instantly cruelly reminded that because my feet are large and square, I cannot wear pointed toes without looking like an elf. (Unless I were to wear them with capri pants, then I would look like an Ooompa Loompa).

I got a pair of white Mizrahi rain boots from Target cos they were $12. I've had them for about a year. So far, I've only worn them 2ce.

i just got two pairs from target (one black and one a polka dot print). i can't justify spending too much on rain boots, since i would rarely wear them. but at $20/piece, i'm happy.
