I unearthed a bunch of sterling pieces, which have all tarnished. I know they can be cleaned but can they be polished to bring back the shine? One is a rolling ring (I think it's discontinued) so all 3 bands of the ring have even wear. It doesn't bother me too much but if Tiffany's was able to do it, that would be great. TIA.

Yes they are. Depending how tarnished they have a quick dip that can clean it in few seconds. If extensive work needs to be done they will send it off to New York for a charge.

Try that first and then try the other option of goddards silver cleaner on your own if your own if you don't wanna pay for polishing fee

Just got a pillbox polished recently. It came back looking great. Parts of the pill box, a suitcase, were polished but the labels and other details were just cleaned.

Thank you. :smile1:

Thanks. Do you mind saying how much they charged or just a ball park figure? :smile1:

No charge mmr. I was told originally there would be a charge depending on the work considered necessary. Since then I've taken in some of my older Tiffany pieces and there has been no charge for cleaning or re-stringing either.

Actually can't remember ever paying for Tiffany cleaning or repairs but have been told several times there would be a charge.

My understanding is if there is a charge you should be advised before the work is done.
