Polene Numero Un MINI

Hi,

I am thinking of purchasing this, but have a few questions...does anyone have the MINI?
How do you shorten the chain? I like a shoulder bag with a shorter strap...this just looks like you can wear it crossbody. Also, can anyone tell me what fits inside the mini?

I need help deciding between these two colors, originally the burgundy one caught my eye but isn't as versatile as the grey one.

Not to sure if the grey is lighter than the photos as I'm seeing many different shades of it :/

I just received the Numero Un monochrome in Grey. It’s a beautiful bag, however the color is not as pictured on the site. It’s much more of a warm grey with brown undertones, rather than the steely, cool grey with blue undertones that is pictured on the site and around the internet. Note that if you’re on the Polene site, the grey on the Numero Un page appears as a cooler shade, whereas on the product page with the model holding the bag, the color does look like more of a ‘greige.’

I agree. I own the bag as well and I wouldn’t call it grey. It’s more a warm taupe or ‘greige’ as you said.

Just found this thread and wish I had seen it a few day ago. I have ordered the same bag in the grey and I am sorry to hear about the color. Will wait and see what arrives on Friday.
