POCHETTE METIS Lock “Clicking”

Hello! I’ve recently purchased a Pochette Metis and used it for the first time today and noticed that the lock makes a clicking noise when I walk - to explain it better I mean that when I close the bag and walk, the lock doesn’t feel tight I.e it rattles so it sounds like a click.

Could this be a fault or because there is not enough items in my bag to fill it out?

It does this when it's closed? Mine doesn't do that and it would drive me crazy. Lol

Mine does not click when it is closed. If it is open, the flap will stick out

I would bring your Pochette Metis back to the store and ask for an evaluation of the lock.

So I’ve spoken to Louis Vuitton Client Srrvices who have advised that the lock does make a noise if it’s not full enough - does anyone agree with this?

Can you bring it into a store? Maybe compare yours with another-if they have one?

It shouldn't make any noises when it's fully closed. Have you tried to fill up the pocket right under where the lock is and see if you can close it completely? At first I thought once I heard the small click noise it means it's closed, but I actually needed to line it up and push a little bit harder to really close it. Definitely not the best designed lock. Or like you said can be a faulty hardware.

I don't agree and personally wouldn't take someone's word over the phone. I agree with the others who said take it to the boutique and have it looked at.
