Hello All.

I recently noticed that my Pochette Metis, which I got in 2018 and minimally used, has started to have glazing issues. The side flap has begun to lift. It looks minor to me now, so my question is - is it okay to hold off on repairs at LV or should I get this fixed ASAP? If it gets worse, will it be more difficult to repair/impossible to repair? (I've attached pics)

I wanted to use it more, and if the issue becomes worse, then bring it to LV.

Any advice? TIA!

HI, I am having the same issue . But i bought a pre loved one & don't have the receipt to take to the store. How can i get it fixed?
I don't think LV asks for a receipt. At least they haven't when I've needed repairs. I believe I read somewhere here that you don't need to be the original owner, the bag just needs to be authentic. If I'm wrong, someone will chime in. I had an issue with my empriente PM glazing and they ended up replacing my bag. The bag was very new.

Thanks. good to know. I will try that . I hope they can fix it. How will they figure out the authenticity?

You don't need a receipt for LV to repair your bag. I took in my Popincourt Haut last week to replace the rivets and zipper pull. I didn't have the receipt and it wasn't even in my purchase history. I purchased the bag before the system was created. They still took the bag in. The SAs working in the store can tell if it's a fake. They are not allowed to authenticate bags, however. If you bring in a bag and it's fake, the only thing that they're allowed to say is "this is not our product." If the SAs are not sure, they will send it off the the repair facility. If it's fake, it will come back with a note saying that they were not able to repair it as it's not one of our products.
