Dilemma. Has to keep one and rerun the other

Should I go with turtledove or noir?

Is turtledove seasononal Color? Noir more classic?

Why do u keep seasonal one? I like turtledove a bit more but worrying color transfer. I am not a person that babysit purse


Please help me choose

I have the Turtledove and I will use it year round. It's such a beautiful neutral. I told myself I could also only have one and I have another black crossbows, so I went with the Turtledove. I know others on the site love their noir, so I think it depends what you have in your collection. They are both very functional and beautiful. I also haven't had any trouble with color transfer.

I first had the monogram and returned it. I went to the boutique and saw the Turtledove and it was love at first sight! I have worn dark denim several times. I'm not going to lie, that made me nervous, but I have no color transfer. Funny story, I had on oatmeal colored sneakers and I had color transfer on those and not on the PM!

I have also worn it with a black jogging suit and a black sweater with no problem. That was in the fall and I feel like the color really popped against black.

I should also add that I have a black Gucci Soho Disco and that's the reason I don't have the PM in noir. Although I find it beautiful, I already had the Gucci and that's my go-to black bag.

I have both (bought the black before the turtledove came out). I love both but if I had to keep only one it would be the turtledove. I love this color, very easy to maintain. I wear almost only black and never had color transfer.

I am partial to the black, but I totally think the turtledove is a year round bag. So if that is your first choice than I say keep that one.

I fell in love with turtle dove colour, but chickened out and went with black. I DO regret not buying the turtle dove but I DONT regret having the black one (if it makes sense) and since I also already have Reverse Mono PM, buying a third PM would be excessive (in my eyes). I would say you will enjoy whatever colour you decide to choose at the end.

I have a black one that I got in 2019 and just ordered the turtledove. I would keep the turtledove if you are only keeping one - it’s beautiful and can work year round, and it’s a limited color that’s hard to find. You can always get a black one later if you decide you want it.

I have the turtledove one, and no, I don’t baby my bags. I use it year round. Reason that I didn’t buy the black one because I got other black bags. It’s personal preference. Which colour goes better with your wardrobe?

I also would like to add the Turtledove PM but due to some experience of color transfer on my DA bag and some light colored leather bags (non LV) I‘m really worried. I can‘t imagine that it doesn‘t happen with dark clothes or denim over time but would be happy if that‘s the case. I‘m wearing a lot of dark and strong colored clothes and not the type that likes nude clothes

I don’t wear jeans but didn’t have any problem with dark clothes (black dresses, heavy coats)
