I can recommend the Felicie without any concern. My Felicie Mono is one of the most used bags in my collection. I have had her since two years and I’ve worn her so much that I’ve already gotten my cost out of her. She can be worn in pouring rain and with all colors - a 100% worry free bag. And she’s so versatile - dressy with the chain and causal / cool with a leather or MPA strap.
Considering the wear and tear (for the mono one, DE might potentially wear differently):
Yes, the flap on one side got a wave, but I hardly notice it. What I notice more is that the canvas on the back side has gotten on its upper part a greasy / shiny looking finish from where the bag rubs against my body / jeans when I wear her crossbody. However you can really notice it only in the artificial light. And I just take it as a normal wear process for such a well loved bag.
Besides the two aspects I’ve mentioned above, the canvas is in excellent condition. The interior still looks brand new (just to note, I’m generally careful with my bags). To be honest I enjoy the gold-tone chain very much: it looks so dressy and it has zero oxidation on it despite heavy use and a lot of rain /snow it has been through.
So for me, Felicie is definitely one of my best purchases.
