Pochette Coussin owners, some advice on the chain strap please

Hello my lovely tpf friends!

Just had a question for pochette Coussin owners abt the chain strap.

Is the chain heavy when you wear it and is it comfy? Does it dig on your shoulder? I saw a pochette Coussin on 24s and am considering it but unsure abt the chain strap. It looks quite chunky from the website. Does the chunky chain overwhelm the bag?

I also noticed that the chain is special and unique in that the LV charm is removeable completely? Is that correct and it can be worn as a belt bag as well as a shoulder bag. Do you find it comfy crossbody and also as a belt bag? Does anyone wear it as a belt bag?

Would love to hear some thoughts on what you think of the chain, if it’s too heavy, comfy and enjoy wearing it or would you have preferred a thinner lighter chain for the bag like the felicie chain strap for example.

Any thoughts or comments would be great!

I'm following still considering this Pochette Coussin but I'm worried about the wrinkling of the leather and indeed the chain. The Felicie chain digs in my shoulder after some hours of use so I prefer to use it with a leather strap, I suppose that would be the same for me with the Coussin chain.

This bag is gorgeous C!!!! I love the 2 colours monogram on the white background. Absolutely a show stopper for sure. I have heard the leather may wrinkle but then it is also lamb skin too.

Oh wow the felicie chain digs in your shoulder too? That’s thinner than the pochette Coussin chain strap.!

Thank you! To me this is the most perfect Coussin I've ever seen! Just a bit nervous because I'm not familiar with this model and lamb skin in general. The digging of the chain is especially when I wear a thin shirt/blouse or when I wear a no sleeve top. When I wear a coat/jacket it's not as bad. But maybe I'm just a bit sensitive on my shoulders since I carry very light too (just phone, cardholder and keys) and others might have better experience!

I have the garden pochette coussin. The chain is quite heavy, I tend to use that chain in the winter months where my clothing is a bit bulkier and "protective" on my shoulder, and I swap for a lighter chain in warmer months. Never have used as a belt bag but I am now going to try because the bag tips a bit due to the loop placement. I most often use the bag as a clutch.

I treasure this bag because it's a show stopper. Its for dressier occasions and I have zero regrets. The one you want is absolutely gorgeous!

@jessica711 your garden pochette Coussin is a stunning gorgeous LE piece I agree it’s a show stopper and especially perfect for dressier events, evenings, or where you want a special clutch to carry.

Thanks for sharing your experience on the chain. I was thinking it maybe slightly on the heavy side too, but then again for the bag size it maybe ok as it’s needed to support the bag? What thinner chain do you use in warmer weather? The felicie chain? Thanks.

Thank you! I use the chain from my nautical toiletry pouch which is a bit chunky. I don't have any short chains from LV, I may need to buy a bag with one soon!

For me I don’t really mind because I hardly carry a bag for too long , I find the strap too short for crossbody, (I used a chain extender) and the bag actually couldn’t fit much because it would be hard to close the 2 buttons if the bag is too full . Do you happen to know what's changed in the 'new generation'? I've noticed indeed that the Pochette Coussin was taken off the website last year and now they introducing the same colors again. I already wondered what was going on.

I don’t know if there are any changes or maybe my CA just wanted to say my Pochette Coussin is the first batch ??
I‘m staying at my new house until Sunday and I didn’t bring my Pochette Coussin, I will check at the LV store when I go there this Sunday , to see any changes

My CA said the difference is only the colours, first they came out with bicolor , then sometimes one colour , or seasonal like LV Garden etc . The chain is the same, it consists of 3 portions , a long chain, LV circle and a short chain
