Pochette Accessoires Mono or DA or Both?

I went into the store looking for a monogram PA, as I’m not one to really baby my bags and I was scared of the light color of the azur. However, they only had the PA in damier azur in stock, and I was actually surprised at how much I liked it on me, even with darker clothing. Seeing as how hard to find the PA is, I decided to at least buy the DA, and I could either return it if I change my mind, or exchange it for the monogram if I can manage to get my hands on it before the return window.

But after taking the DA home I’m really starting to like it! So now I’m wondering, if I even can find a monogram, do I exchange it? Or…do I even keep both?? () I know I don’t *need* both (or either, really I guess), but I’m wondering if people actually use both or if it’s more of a collection thing.

Does anyone have the PA in both the mono and DA? Do you actually use them both or find yourself reaching more/only for the mono? How much do you really have to baby the azur? I read all over this forum about color transfer with any jeans/dark clothing, but the CA told me I’d only really have to worry about jeans dyed with indigo.

I have both and have only used the mono but am keeping both. I got them both for $500ish and so it would not make sense to get rid of one of them, as I would not spend the new amounts to get it back.

I have and love both. I use my DA for spring/summer, and pull out the one in mono for fall/winter.

I have a monogram PA and a DE. I'm trying to get a DA also (waitlist life!). I think if you like the size of the bag and it works for your lifestyle, you should totally keep the DA and try to get a monogram too. The bag is perfect for errands and you'll have a spring/summer option + all year option in the monogram. Enjoy your DA PA

This bag is so nice, I bought it twice. I am actually the opposite of you. I really wanted it in Azur, but was first given the opportunity to buy it in Mono. I actually did not like mono at the time and only bought because of the price (and LV bag for only $630, hell yeah) and it was so hard to get (thrill of the chase). After I bought it and wore it a few times, I realized how that 1) I do like mono & 2) I still really needed it in azur. I was able to get the azur 6 months later (it had gone up to
$790 at that time). I love them both and do not baby the azur at all, but I usually only wear it with lighter colors or jeans that I’ve had for years. I did wear it once this summer with navy and has no issues. However, I’ve only had it since June of this year.

Thank you for all your responses! I really was afraid that most responses would be along the lines of “I have both and love/need both, get both!” Lol, my poor bank account! The thrill of the chase really is addicting. Fingers crossed about being able to get the mono!

I agree with you, it is indeed addictive, and the harder to get it, the more you want it lol. I got myself a PA in DA first, then i realised how much i love the bag and so i got myself another in mono. I use both bags interchangeably, no issues with colour transfer too. I suggest you get both PAs, u wont regret it !

Have both, love both. I wear mostly black leggings now, and all my jeans are light to mid wash, and no color transfer at all on the DA.

I don't have DA, but if you were lucky to find one, I would say keep it. I also think it can be very chic with monochrome (beige/camel) outfits in winter.

You are all enablers!! Kidding…I guess we wouldn’t be on this forum if we didn’t already have/want this stuff.

I really regret not getting into designer handbags earlier, when they were more affordable. But the “hard to find/thrill of the chase” has got me to already snag the mono key cles and DE mini pochette, though I’m not sure yet how/if I’ll use the mini.

I have both and recommend both -- if you like the two patterns. I use my DA version in all of my lighter bags, and the Mono in everything else -- from my Chanel flaps to my big Celine bag. It is a fantastic little piece and so very useful!

ETA: My apologies. I somehow read this thread as the Mini Pochette! I do not own the PA.

I also have both and use both! Love them! I have an adjustable vachetta strap to make them crossbody and also use a chain occasionally. My only other DA bag is the Girolata, which is sort of big, so the DA PA is a really easy grab and go summer bag.

I have the monogram and love it. It’s more classic to me. I wore the DA with a blue Jean material shirt without thinking, and ruined it. I don’t like having to think of what im wearing with my bags. So I would stick to monogram.

No doubt keep both. I cannot believe how expensive this item is compared to years ago. Prices will just keep increasing. It’s a classic piece you can use for a lifetime. It comes in very handy.
