I sold an item on ebay worth about 900, and the buyer's confirmed address is a PO Box. I was going to use UPS to ship the item but I'm not sure how the signature confirmation works for a PO box. Does USPS do signature confirmation on PO Boxes?

Thanksss soo much for any help!

I don't think Fed Ex or UPS delivers to PO boxes. At least I know fed ex doesn't. I am looking at an air bill now that says "cannot deliver to a PO box".

If I were you I'd do USPS with insurance & sig confirmation. I think a USPS employee signs for it.. :shrugs: Hopefully someone else can chime in!

I believe a note will be left at the PO Box. And owner of the box will have to pick up package at the counter with ID. At least that's how my PO does it.

This is how we do it at ours, the customer brings the note to the counter and signs for it.

UPS doesn't deliver to PO boxes either.

The receiver whose PO box it is must sign for it in person. That's how I get all my shipped packages that go by way of USPS.

Any truck service requires a physical street address.
